        - July 15: Sangjun talk and Transducers'05 review: Single crystal silicon
micromachining technique and its application to inertial sensors. Abstract:
In this talk, a short review on the single crystal silicon micromachining
technique will be given. In single crystal silicon MEMS, a proper electrical
isolation method should be applied. My Ph.D. work is mainly focused
on the development of electrical isolation method that provides mechanical
stability and good electrical properties, free from residual stress
and footing phenomenon in DRIE process. With the developed method, a
z-axis micro gyroscope was fabricated, and I will present the experimental
results with the device. Several papers published in Transducers 05
          would be reviewed as well.
