Journal Title COMPUTER PHYSICS COMMUNICATION
ISSN 0010-4655
Aim/Scope/Research Area AIMS AND SCOPE
Computer Physics Communications (CPC) publishes research papers in computational physics and physical chemistry, and closely related areas in computational science, computer programs, review articles on selected topics, proceedings of topical conferences in the field, thematic issues, and comments on previous publications in the journal. All contributions are handled by an international board of experts covering all subfields of computational physics and physical chemistry. Computer programs are deposited in the CPC Program Library, and a description is published as an article in the journal.
The current (2008) principal co-ordinating editor is N. Stanley Scott of Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland, who also acts as director of the Program Library.[4]
The journal's 2008 impact factor was 2.120.[5]
