The Article Influence Score measures the relative importance of the journal on a per-article basis, and is designed to reflect the prestige and citation influence of journals by considering scholarly literature as a network of journal-to-journal relationships. It is basically the normalized ratio of the number of citations to the total number of articles, excluding self citations.
