Research Opportunities at Other Institutions
Here is a list of summer research opportunities for undergraduates at places other than UW. We have highlighted a few opportunities for you, but more opportunities can also be found directly at the National Science Foundation's site (see the link below). We strongly encourage our UW EE undergraduates to seek out summer research opportunities, as these experiences strengthen research, communication, and technical skills, as well as engender within our students a sense of professional development within the larger engineering community.
Many of the summer research opportunities listed below have starting dates prior to the end of our spring quarter here at UW. Please do not let this keep you from applying to the programs! Should you get accepted, EE Advising will assist you in working with your professors here to take finals early, take finals on site at the summer research program, etc. Contact your advisers for further information.
