Abstract
|
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for a biometric transponder based activity management system in a denned area. The system has a central server connected to at least one display station in the denned area. The display station may contain a biometric transponder reader for reading and interpreting the biometric attributes ol a patron encoded within or on the transponder. The display station further relays selected information about the patron to the central server for selected data processing. The patron in possession of the biometric transponder may request a selected activity or entry into a selected area of the denned area. The system authenticates the patron's identity from the transponder and may grant the selected activity or allow the patron access to the selected denned area.
